WALL-E

An action-packed science fiction movie that follows a solitary robot on a future, uninhabitable, deserted Earth in 2805. The film incorporates various topics including commercialism, corporatocracy, reminiscence, waste management, human environmental impact, obesity, and global catastrophic risk.

With the arrival of an unmanned probe carrying an egg-shaped robot named Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator (EVE) who has been sent to scan the planet for signs of sustainable life, WALL-E’s fascination for collecting artifacts out of trash decreases. WALL-E is smitten by the sleek, otherworldly robot, and the two begin to connect.

MOANA

Set in ancient Polynesia, Moana is the story of a teenager and the daughter of a chief. Moana has to find Maui and has him restore the heart of Te Fiti. She sets out on a daring mission across the pacific despite her parent’s warnings. This movie teaches us that encouragement from our friends and loved ones are a very powerful motivation to keep us going in difficult times. Even the strongest people can feel afraid!

THE LION KING

Betrayed and exiled from his kingdom, lion cub Simba must figure out how to grow up and take back his royal destiny on the plains of the African savanna. We get to see Simba, face troubles, and return back to claim what’s rightfully his. It can teach the importance of love and friendship that transcends all boundaries.

INSIDE OUT

Eleven-year-old Riley is guided by a lot of emotions like sadness, anger, distress, joy, and fear. All her feelings are controlled at the headquarters (brain), which navigates her from negative feelings to positive ones.

All right everyone, fresh start! We’re gonna have a good day, which will turn into a good week, which will turn into a good year, which will turn into a good life!” — Joy

Finding Nemo is a clownfish Albert Brook’s journey to find his son Alexander Gould after losing him in the great barrier reef.  Nemo was too stubborn and wanted to stand up to his parents. Clearly, the lesson Nemo learned here was to always listen to your parents. Although one may not realize it, parents know best!
